Fandom Clinic, Thursday night

Jenkins had been startled to see a strange pink creature go rushing by the door to his shop, and when he went out to see what was happening, he was nearly trampled by a distressed alot carrying an unconscious woman. It only made sense, then, to assist the poor creatures to the clinic and ensure the unconscious woman got proper care.

It was almost a relief when the alot turned into a blue woman, so he could get some coherent answers.

"While the creatures you're describing are unfamiliar to me, the symptoms of your friend are not. I'll have to do some tests, with your permission, but I suspect the creature may have been trying to feed on her soul."

Raven pressed her hands to her mouth. "Can you -- can you fix it?"

"We'll have to see, my dear. In the mean time, at least you've gotten her to safety."

[clinic is open for any and all getting injured/knocked out tonight! And I should be done spamming the list now. . . .]

"Uh, sure, I guess?" Eric said with a shrug. "I mean. I could try." Considering he had no idea how he'd made that happen in the first place. Was it possible to acquire magic powers simply due to the fact that he'd lived on a weird magic island for so long?

"Okay," Eric took a deep breath. "Should we do that, um, now, then?" he asked, nodding towards the clinic door.

"Right," Eric said, taking a deep breath. He thought about pointing out that he didn't actually know the guy he'd brought in, but figured that wasn't really the point.

Once they were outside, Eric held up a still-sparking hand. "I yelled at the thing, and it started to go at me, and then I just kind of," screamed, "held up my hands and was trying to protect myself, you know? And... bam! The thing kinda exploded into this gross black goo," As if to emphasize his point, a bolt of electricity shot out of his hands as he spoke.

"Huh," Eric said, glancing at the now slightly charred patch of grass where the bolt had hit. "It seemed... bigger, before?" Indeed, the sparks flying from his fingertips seemed to have noticeably dimmed just in the time from when he'd first showed them to Jenkins and now.

"Other than getting my college acceptance notice in the mail?" Eric shrugged. "No, not really. I tend to kind of... keep a low profile during these sorts of things." He wasn't much of a fighter, honestly. More of a scream-and-duck-out-of-the-way-er. That he hadn't totally frozen up tonight was essentially a credit to Isabelle's workshop last summer.
