Adah limped into the clinic that evening with an armful of books checked out from the library today to satisfy a poorly constructed ruse, filled with a bunch of stuff that she already knew and would be using in a vain effort to distract herself from everything else that was going on in her head since that afternoon. Of course, this plan would not work in the slightest, and Adah knew this, but Adah was also stubborn, so she was doing her best to pretend that she was actually interested in the most basic tenants of her fields of study and hoping (she was reluctant to use the term praying) that someone broke a leg today, merely so she'd have something to do.

The episode of Hearts 'n' Scapels with the demonic possession was playing in the front lobby. It might not have been in the best taste, but Christian couldn't help it after reading over the reports from the weekend. Demonic-induced coma? Demonic-induced massive hemorrhaging? Christian had been called a demon by more than one woman, but even after being in Fandom for so long he had a hard time believing in them. That punk kid who looked like him and who claimed to be a demon was probably just trying to impress his girlfriend. Boyfriend. Whichever.

Katara was glad to see that Dawn had woken up and left the clinic since she was here on Friday, but it wasn't much better that Dean was here instead.

So she was checking often and trying to make sure that everything possible was going well.

The nurses were fighting. It wasn't every day they had a patient to take care of. A male patient. A hot male patient. So unsuprisingly, there were several arguments about who got to check on said patient, take his vitals, change his bandages, fluff his . . . pillows.

[ooc: mod a nurse; if you would like interaction with a doctor, ping me at Chaos of Passion on AIM.]

The surprise Adah felt when she came in for her shift and discovered that yesterday's patient had been checked out already was significant, she had to admit, although it was a bit of a relief. She would miss having something to do in her frequent check-ups, but would be glad to be spared the saccharine visits from her near hordes of visitors that didn't seem to understand that people in comas couldn't exactly tell you were even there. It was kind of ridiculous, she thought a bit bitterly as she settled at the front desk to keep herself occupied with some medical journals. How long had she been there after her coma? A week? Ugh. Well. Maybe she'd be out the same day as waking up if she'd been gifted with a properly working brain, a normal nervous system, and her own little fanclub, too.

Christian made the morning rounds of the clinic patients, then took his place behind the front desk, hoping that more kids wouldn't be brought in today.

With so many patients coming in, Doogie figured it would be a nice idea to come in and help Dr. Lambert. He checked on the patients who were still around, before going to man the desk while he waited for Natalie to arrive.

Elliot was in a good mood as she came into the clinic -- she had a strawberry smoothie and it had been a beautiful weekend.

The mood did not dissipate as she checked the charts and realized two patients had stayed overnight. Having something to do was nice, and it looked like they were both healing well.

She checked on Sam and Annette before settling in at the desk and trying to catch up on her e-mail.

[OOC: I'll be offline from about 11 until 2 or so around but possibly slow. Visitors, go on to the rooms if you want.]

It's another Sunday evening and Stark's in the clinic. He'd much rather be outside, but leaving the door open will have to do for now. The TV is tuned to some nature show, which really isn't helping to alleviate the desire to be outdoors.

[Up early as I'm having people for dinner (mmmm, delicious people) in about an hour. I'll pick up any and all tags when I return (8:30 or 9 EDT, I would think). Alas, it is midnight and I must sleep.]

"Please state the nature of the medical emergency," the Doctor said as he opened his eyes in a chair in the clinic. He looked around, realized this room was a mess, and went about doing all the important things one does in keeping a neat and tidy reception area. After that, he checked on poor Miss Summers, and after seeing no horrendous change in condition (and wondering why the clinic seemed ill-equipped. Where were the medical tricorders or dermal regenerators?), he went back to the waiting area.

And started humming opera songs to himself to pass the time.

[ooc: Going up early in case there are Buffy visitors, etcetera, and I accidentally sleep in]

Stark hadn't exactly been looking forward to coming into town when the island was overrun by big scary things. But he was supposed to be at the clinic on Sundays and so at the clinic he was. After arriving, he'd flailed more than a little bit at the number of people in the clinic. Flailing under control, he was now ready to deal with things. Hopefully.

[OCD coming up. Poke me if I get something wrong.]

Alanna was very suprised to find that there were actually people in the clinic. Faithful...decided the TV made a good bed.

Armed with coffee and the television remote, Trevor settled in for what he figured would be another quiet evening in the clinic.
