FTEC – Saturday [September 20]

Ino was pretty sure that this was going to be a bad day if radio had been anything to go by about how many people had been in and out of the clinic last night.

As such, she didn’t even take out her study materials, but rather busied herself with making sure everything was stocked up and keeping a watchful eye on the door. Ready to help if it was needed.

...she really hoped it wouldn't be needed. Better wasted effort than a lot of patients.

"It was that, all right," she muttered, and sighed. "Why not. Better safe than sorry." And pretty much the cap to her day.

"I'll be gentle, I promise," Martha replied. "And I'll get your ribs bandaged up as well. I hope you weren't planning on going anywhere?"

"Do I have to stay?" Jaina asked. "With everything going on, I'd like to be around if something happens."

It ran in the family, it really did.

"I'd definitely advise it," Martha said. "Just for the night, and we'll see how you feel in he morning."

She pursed her lips, ready to argue, but she didn't think her argument would be helped by her going "Ow" every time she took a step. "I'll be fine in the morning," she said. Or at least she'd be faking it better.

Martha smiled, and did her best to sound genuine, and not condescending. "I hope you will be," she said, as she got to work.
