FTEC, Wednesday Night

Natalie brought in her stainless steel cup again, and would work her way through the contents during the shift. It was wonderful to have coffee back in her diet -- even in such small amounts. Wrapping her stethoscope around her neck, she settled in at the front desk for a few minutes before heading into the lab.

Her displeasure at no police involvement evident on her face, Nat sighed and nodded. "I'll take care of it." She could, at least, understand the aversion.

Natalie prepped the local anesthetic and began stitching up the back. Once that was completed, she would move to the chest. If she'd had a clinic staff, she would have instructed someone to start him on a medicated drip. As she didn't, it would have to wait until she finished patching him up.

"It looks as though you're going to be fine...though I'll definitely recommend some therapy to rebuild these muscles." She passed a glance between her patient and the, uhm, business woman behind her.

He wouldn't. But he meant to right now at this moment, which counts for... well, nothing really.

After a while, Natalie finished the stitches, bandaged the wounds, and moved to clean up and prep the IV. She inserted the shunt first, then the needle with practiced ease. GOB would be sleeping soon.

With a sigh, Becky folded herself into a chair, tucking her legs up to her chest.
